## Optimum storage conditions

Controlling the climate in archive rooms is critical for document preservation. Paper is highly sensitive to fluctuations in temperature and humidity, so strict control of these parameters is essential.

With its range of instruments, Sauermann provides measurement solutions for every need: from spot measurements with portable devices to continuous monitoring, with data transfer and/or autonomous recording for archiving.

Document preservation requires controlling several parameters: temperature (from 16°C to 23°C or 60.8°F to 73.4°F), relative humidity (from 40% to 55%), and water weight (from 4.6 g/Kg to 9.7 g/Kg or 4.6 to 9.7 g per kg). These conditions can only be maintained with effective air treatment.

Temperature and humidity transmitters ensure continuous monitoring of these parameters and can communicate with any monitoring system through analog or digital signals, or fully programmable electrical contacts.

The Si-K25 and Si-K85 are airflow measurement cones designed for 4'' (100 mm) diameter vane anemometers. These models feature a honeycomb-structured airflow straightener that reduces turbulence for more reliable flow measurement.
