Vertical cabins require an average air speed of at least 0.30 m/s at 1 metre from the floor, with no point below 0.25 m/s. Accurate assessment of the average velocity requires measurements at a minimum of 9 points evenly distributed over the cross-section of the grille. The final average velocity value is calculated by averaging the velocities measured in each defined zone, thus guaranteeing good diffusion of the airflow in the cabin. Differential pressure sensors continuously monitor the clogging of the air filters, so that they can be replaced at optimum preventive intervals.
