Those systems also include the heat distribution part, whether it is a water circuit or a forced air system with fans & blowers. In order to ensure that such a heating system is working safely and efficiently various functional checks, adjustments and measurements should be performed on heat pumps, gas-fired systems, oil and solid fuel systems, both during commissioning and at regular intervals. These include flue gas analysis, differential pressure measurement, leak detection and tightness testing, flow temperature measurement, as well as ambient CO measurement. Also note that combustion analysis is important for engines and other combustion processes whose purpose is not to generate heat.
